Sons of the Forest will launch on February 23 as an early-access game
The title was initially going to be released on the same date as a finished product, although its developers want to continue improving that help of the community.

“It’s been a long journey since we started development on Sons of the Forest, and it has grown to become the biggest and most complex game we’ve ever made,” Endnight Games said in a statement. “There are still many more things we want to add items, new mechanics, better game balance, and more.
