Microsoft said a line of business intelligence and application development tools within the Power Platform, including Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder, has been updated with the new capabilities.

Power Virtual Agent, a tool for companies to build chatbots, can now connect to internal company resources to generate weekly report summaries and customer inquiries.

Microsoft has also added generative AI capabilities to AI Builder, which allows companies to automate workflows, and to Dynamics 365, a business management platform.

These features will only be available in the United States.

Last month, the software giant added OpenAI’s ChatGPT to its Bing search engine and Edge browser.
