The brand’s latest operating system was launched a little over a year ago, and Microsoft has wanted to improve it with the intention of making the user experience more interesting. This measure is part of a recently applied software update. In addition to this novelty, Microsoft has also launched Phone Link for iOS and has updated the Android version to further strengthen the connection between mobile phones and Windows computers.
The Chat has been renewed so that Internet users can preview a video, and directly skip a call or share a link from any application. Likewise, the firm has incorporated widgets from Phone Link, Xbox Game Pass, and partners such as Meta or Spotify to facilitate access to the taskbar.
On the other hand, Microsoft now allows you to capture, save and share videos through the Snipping tool, which until now could only take fixed screenshots. There will also be changes to Notepad, which will have new tabs such as one that will allow you to save lines of code for reuse and speed up the process for developers.
Another addition has to do with accessibility for people with visual disabilities since they have made Windows 11 compatible with braille displays and have improved voice access in key applications.
Regarding the workplace, Microsoft has not been left behind and has equipped the Start Menu with AI to organize content. This tool is available on Windows 11 Pro and higher devices that have Azure Active Directory.
In short, Microsoft has added the Windows 365 tool to its application store. Therefore, users will be able to access the cloud service directly from their PC desktop without having to enter a browser.
