The premium alternative is currently only available in the United States, but OpenAI intends to launch it in other countries for those who want to avoid server saturation problems.

Introducing ChatGPT Plus

OpenAI’s artificially intelligent chatbot, ChatGPT, gives answers so accurate that some have come to question whether search engines like Google can compete against this type of technology in a few years. However, it has a flaw: when its servers are full of users, they are very slow.

The company has wanted to put a payment solution for those who do not want to suffer slow problems in their responses. This is ChatGPT Plus, a pilot subscription plan (in the testing phase) that resolves our doubts immediately, even when the servers are saturated.

For €20 per month, customers will be able to get general access to ChatGPT at peak times, “faster response times” and priority access to new features and updates.

At the moment, the Plus version will only be available in the United States and with a waiting list process, but they intend to launch this paid alternative in more countries soon.

“We love our free users and will continue to offer free access to ChatGPT –they have pointed out from a post on their website-. By offering this subscription price, we will be able to help support the availability of free access to as many people as possible.”

In addition, OpenAI intends to “refine and expand this offering” taking into account the feedback and needs of its consumers. To do this, they are considering the possibility of adding cheaper options, commercial plans, and data packages “for greater availability.”
